Definition: A person who organizes and manages any enterprise, especially a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk.
We launched our Executive Search Firm in October of 1983. We were young entrepreneurs ready to take on the responsibilities and challenges of running a business of service.
To be sure, we started off with the mindset that this business of service would SUCCEED.
We were determined to, first and foremost, perform with the philosophy that in order to be successful, we must place the needs of the client above anything else. From all of the previous training and experience in the arena of business, we would operate with the mentality that the CLIENT COMES FIRST (a unique concept). During the previous three years (1980-1983), with Craig working for the world’s largest recruiting firm, we learned placing the client/candidate’s needs above personal interests was the key to a successful outcome. After their needs were met, our needs would be met.
That was our ‘FOUNDATION OF OPERATION. ‘
From the inception of the founding of our business, we incorporated the “CAN-DO ATTITUDE.” We implemented concepts from mentors such as Zig Ziglar, Jim Rohn, Norman Vincent Peale, Denis Waitley, Brian Tracy, and many others. We were determined to “go the extra mile” to set us apart from the ordinary and average thinkers and performers.
In terms of action, that meant meeting with clients at midnight if they were flying in and had a short window of time to meet and discuss their needs.
Through the decades and today, it means regularly working late nights to do the necessary research for our clients to bring results. It means being available WHENEVER required to GET THE JOB DONE. In other words, we navigate the maze–overcoming any obstacles blocking the way to a successful outcome.
Many people do not understand that hiring a “CAN-DO PERSON” is like something you have never previously experienced (“CAN-DO PEOPLE are so rare). The “CAN- DO PERSON” is an unparalleled individual and someone who can bring extraordinary results. The “CAN-DO PERSON” is critical to achieving outstanding rewards.
